As July comes to a close and summer is in full swing, we invite you to join us for a sweet event with a meaningful purpose. On Thursday, July 31st from 11am-1:30pm, Sullivan County Victim Services will be hosting an Ice Cream Social on our porch—a friendly spot for neighbors to gather, enjoy some ice cream, and learn about the important services we provide.
Our porch socials are more than just ice cream (though we promise the treats will be delicious!). They’re part of our ongoing efforts to share information about the support and advocacy we offer to individuals and families who have experienced crime or trauma. Whether you already know about our work, just want to find out more, or are only interested in ice cream, this is an easygoing and welcoming way to connect with us.
What you’ll find:
We believe that connecting with our community is an important part of prevention and healing. By opening our doors, we hope to build a sense of belonging and understanding. Whether you’re grabbing a quick cone or staying to chat, your presence helps build a stronger network of care in our county.
